She was 76. Born Feb. 2, 1923, in Douglas, N.D., Mrs. Johnson graduated from Dougl as High School and attended Trinity Nursing School in Minot, N.D. She was a registered nurse for Dr. Vukow in Renton, retiring in 1985 a fter 40 years of service. She was a member of the Panther Lake Commun ity Church. Mrs. Johnson’s husband, K. Lawrence Johnson died in 1993. She is surv ived by her son, David L. Johnson of Othello; daughters Barbara E. Slo an of Maple Valley and Bonnie L. Rerecich of Renton; brothers Duane C . Ostby of Bellflower, Calif., Robert Ostby of Lishon, N.D., Ronald Os tby of Dickinson, N.D., Richard Ostby of Douglas, N.D., and Roger Ostb y and Rodney Ostby , both of Minot, N.D.; sisters, Arline Tortorelli o f Spokane, Yvonne Stack of Minot, N.D., Mercedes Ostby of Auburn and A lJean Bruel of Houston; step-mother Lillian Ostby of Minot, N.D.; an d six grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday at Edline-Yahn Funeral Chapel in Ke nt. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Burial Par k in Kent.
