Henry Jones, Homer Clifford, Leon Frank, Helen Sally, Harry Rhodes and Stanley Gardiner were children born in NY State to Oscar William and Mary T. Rhodes Ordway.
Oscar was the son of Philo and Mary Chambers Ordway.
Mary was the daughter of Norman and Lucinda Loss Rhodes of Saratoga and Warren Co's NY.
Oscar, her father was a very prosperous lumberman in upstate NY and Quebec Canada.
1905 she attended Iowa University where she met Frederick Charles Young.
1908 Jul 22 at Glens Falls NY Helen married Frederick Charles Young Sr.
Frederick was the son of George N. and Mary Hunter Young.
They then moved to Iowa where Fred was employed as a highway engineer, he leaving a legacy behind for his well respected abilities for building highways in Iowa.
1909 Nov 22 there were born to them twin sons, Frederick Jr. and Gerald Ordway Young. Fred Jr. died in 1910.
1924 Mar 08 Fred Sr. died at Waterloo IA from pneumonia.
1936 Jul 03 Helen married Carleton Sias at Waterloo,Iowa. He was a very prominent lawyer and well known in Waterloo. He died in 1961. There were no children born to this union.
It certainly was not easy tracking Helen after Frederick died, but was finally accomplished.
Helen was finally located in Williams Bay, WI living with her son, Gerald and his wife, Margaret, until her death.
Her final resting is beside her 1st husband Frederick, and son, Frederick Jr. in IA.
