The funeral of Mrs. Roy Remington, nee Edna Heckman, who died last Friday evening following an illness of over a year, was held this afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Heckman, corner of Hogan and Heckman streets.
Mrs. Remington was born in this city in June, 1899, and was 28 years old at the time of her death. Mrs. Remington lived with her parents here until a year ago last October when she was married to Roy Remington, also of this city. She was a member of the Christian Science church which conducted the ceremonies.
Those who remain to mourn her loss are her husband, Mr. and Mrs. W. Heckman, a brother Reno, three sisters, Hulda Heckman, Mrs. Julius Doersch, and Mrs. John Remington. Among the out-of-town relatives who attended the funeral are: Mrs. C. Heckman, Manitowoc; Miss Lydia Heckman, Mrs. William Voight and Mrs. Charles Voss, all of Cleveland, Wisc. Burial will be made in a local cemetery.

OBITUARY - unsourced new clipping.
Mrs. Paulina Heckman, née Bertha Paulina Miller, was born in Manitowoc county on September 25, 1860. There she grew to womanhood and was married to William Heckman in 1880. They resided in Manitowoc for approximately three years, and then came to Antigo. Soon after they purchased a farm northwest of Antigo, now at the corner of First avenue and Heckman street, and lived there ever since, about 37 years. Mrs. Heckman passed away on Wednesday, August 20 at 8:30 p.m. William Heckman, her husband, preceded her in death on April 17, 1921, also three children, one in infancy, Arthur in 1908, and Mrs. Roy Remington, née Edna Heckman, in 1918. Surviving her are Mrs. J. W. Doersch, Elcho, Hulda Heckman, at home, Mrs. John Remington, and R. Remington of this city, four brothers, Charles Miller, town of Antigo; Ferdinand Miller, Mich.; August and Rudolph Sternbeck, Manitowoc county, and Mrs. C.M. Powell of Duluth, Minn. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. from home. Those from out of town in attendance at the funeral were Mrs. Anna Heckman, Mr. And Mrs. Carl Keller, and daughter, Bernice, the Misses Addie and Ethel Heckman, Emery, Clarence and Howard Heckman, all of Merrill, August and Rudolph Sternbeck, Mrs. Charles Voss, Mrs. Edward Heckman, Mrs. Herman Heckman of Manitowoc county, Mrs. Wally Remington, and Mrs. Bert Drake of Elcho.
