CALDWELL \emdash Services for Elmer Chancey Wilson, 77, Marsing, who died Thursday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be held at the Peckham-Dakan Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. James E. McMillan of the Deer Flat Free Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Hillcrest.

He was born May 6, 1889, in Burr Oak, Kan., and moved to Nebraska with his parents as a child. He married Sadie A. Young on July 21, 1909, in Bloomfield, Neb., and they later homesteaded near Rapid City, S.D. They lived on their homestead until moving to Marsing in 1936. He was deputy sheriff of Owyhee County and marshal of Marsing from 1942 to 1947.

He was a member of the Bloomfield Methodist Church, National Sheriff's Association and Northwest Peace Officers Association.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Wilson are a son, Harold E. Wilson of Marsing; a daughter, Mrs. Ina B. Marshall of Caldwell; a granddaughter, Mrs. Geraldine Falen of Caldwell; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marguerite Wilson, in 1929.

Memorials may be given to the Idaho Youth Ranch at Rupert.
