In Book III - containing information about locations on Selbustrand:
Pages 273-279 contain the historical information of Høyby Gard. During the years 1788-1807 this farm was owned by Kristoffer Torkjelsen (see page 277). Kristoffer was born in 1763 on Flønestrøa gard and died in 1833. In 1788, he would marry Kari Olsdatter (1761-1846) who was born on the Nordigarden Kleset. Kristoffer and Kari would have six children. On page 278, child number 4 is Marit who was born in 1798. Marit would marry the schoolmaster Per Olsen. When Kristoffer and Kari had to give up Høyby, they left as the new owners of Sersjantplassen, a crofter's place under Sersjant.

Kristoffer blev gift med Kari Olsdatter i 1788. (Kari Olsdatter blev født i 1761 og døde i 1846.)
