Norman, Henry, Smith, William, Andrew B., Charles Goodridge, Polly, Mary, Electa, Lucinda and Louisa were children born to David and Thankful ___Rhodes. David was the son of Richard and Rachel Horton Rhodes. There is a question 03 Oct 2019 was David actually the son of Richard and Rachel Horton Rhodes? Trying to figure that one out.
Abt 1849 Day Saratoga Co NY he married Lucinda Loss, daughter of Benjamin and Sally Brooks Loss, both of NY State.
To their marriage were born Granville, he died young, Mary and Sarah. Mary married Oscar Ordway, a lumberman in Warren Co NY, they eventually moved to Quebec Canada where Oscar owned and operated a large saw mill.
Norman as so many others in the area was a tiller of the land. He was also very involved in his church being the superintendent of the Sunday School in 1830.
Lucinda died 30 Apr 1870, Norman died a widower.
