Wava Irene Nielsen, age 86, passed away on August, 26, 2011 in South Jordan, Utah.
She was married in December 1944 to Robert Cox (later divorced) and later married Ray Nielsen (deceased) in March 1977 in Reno, Nevada.
She loved to travel the United States, fishing in the Pacific Ocean, hunting, and square dancing.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judi (Michael) Larsen; and one son, Karl L. Cox. Also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the mortuary chapel.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
