Nick A. Butkovich Jr.
Forskningsnotater: Pueblo Chieftain - June 03, 2003 - Nick A. Butkovich, 74, passed away May 31, 2003. Born June 13, 1928, to Nick and Pauline Butkovich, who preceded him in death. Nick is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Esther; children, Daniel (Kathy) Smith, Tim Smith, Kathy (Rene) Visscher, Cheryl Bensik and Sherry (Tim) Miller. Grandfather of Brent (Crystal) Bensik, Nichole Higgins, Evelyn, Christina and Stephanie Visscher, Chad Smith, T.J. Smith and J.B. and Tiffany Smith. Also survived by four great-grandchildren, Morghan, Madison, MacKenzie and Aspen Bensik; one aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews. Nick was a World War II Navy veteran. He attended Central High School, Pueblo Junior College and Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Nick loved football and was a featured running back at all three institutions. His picture is currently on display at the University of Colorado Pueblo. Following graduation from CSUFC, Nick enjoyed a successful career in Pueblo as estimator and project manager for several local construction firms. His pastimes were gardening, time with his family and his pet Woody. Nick was a member of Our Lady of the Meadows Church where services will be held. Vigil service, 7 p.m. Tuesday, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to the Pueblo Humane Society in Nick's memory, in care of the funeral home office. The family will receive friends and family in the church reception hall immediately following the interment. Begravelsesnotater: Nick A Butkovich, Jr Nick blev gift med Esther.
