Death again claimed one of the earliest settlers of Tordenskjold when Mrs. Martha Hoff, who has been sick with a tumor since last November, died at St. Luke's hospital at Fergus Falls May 28th. She was taken to the hospital about two weeks ago for treatment and seemed to be recovered nicely when word was received of her death.
She leaves six children to mourn her death, Mathias, Peter, Andrew, Henry and Mrs. T. J. Hildn, all of Tordenskjold, and Mrs. John Holden of Fertile. She was laid to rest in the cemetery of the Lutheran church of which she was a member. Mrs. Hoff was 84 years of age on the last day of March of this year.
