In Book III - containing information about locations on Selbustrand:
Pages 238-240 contain historical information about the Fuglem Gard. The first entry covers the years 1842-1866. During this time the Gard was operated by Per Olsen who was born in 1797 on the Melykkja farm. Per was a schoolmaster. In 1823 he married Marit Kristoffersdatter (1798-1866) who was born on the Høyby gard. This young couple would first live in Høybyplassen, a small cotter's place of Høyby. Then they would move to Fuglem gard. Their third child, a son, was Ola Persen/Ole Pedersen (see page 239, child #3). As mentioned before Ole would marry Gunhild Eriksdatter who was born on Balstadjardet.

Per blev gift med Marit Kristoffersdatter, datter af Kristoffer Torkjelsen og Kari Olsdatter, i 1823. (Marit Kristoffersdatter døde i 1866.)
