In Book III - containing information about locations on Selbustrand:
Pages 318 & 319 discusses the history of crofter's place Melykkja, a small place under the Mean gard. This is where Per Olsen (the schoolmaster) was born. Per's parents were Ola Persen (b.1748-d.1798) born on Skultrøa and Marit Olsdatter (b.1757-d.1840) born on Ustigarden Sandvik. Ola and Marit were married in 1784 and they would begin to own and operate Melykkja croft between (1790-1808). They had five children and Per (b.1797) was their youngest. Per is listed as #5 near the top of page 319.

Ola blev gift med Marit Olsdatter i 1784. (Marit Olsdatter blev født i 1757 og døde i 1840.)
