John Sieger CUSTER - Funeral services for John Sieger will be at 2 p.m., Monday in McColleys Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Vern Ekerholm officiating. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery.
Sieger died Friday, September 4, 1964, at the Custer Community Hospital in Custer, South Dakota.
John Sieger was born November 13, 1887, at Thileman, Minnesota, and was a long time resident of the Custer area.
Survivors include his widow, Bessie, Custer; two sons, Max and Everett Sieger, both of Custer; three brothers, Pete and Leonard, both of Buffalo Gap and Henry, Omro, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Patterson, Salon Springs, Wis., and Mrs. Anna Madden, Glenwood, MN. and five grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Custer Community Hospital and the Custer Community Church and may be left at the funeral home. Published in the Rapid City Daily Journal, Saturday, September 5, 1964.
