Three miles north of Elbow Lake, Mn. This was the old farmstead. Toline was born at Tilemarken, Norway, March 9th 1846 to Gunnul and Gunhild (Johnsdatter) Paulson. The family came to Minnesota and settled at Waseca, Mn. She married Olaus (Ole) Ostrom Sept 19th 1873 at Waseca. She is survived by three daughters and five sons; Elsie Nims of Elbow Lake, Mn. Anna Haner, Olina Ehlers of Douglas, N.Dak., John of Meadow Lake, Sask., Canada, Bertel of Blindness, Alberta, Canada, Theodore of Drake, N.Dak., Oscar of Douglas, N.Dak. and Carl of Empress, Alberta, Canada. She is Survived by 56 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 1: 30 at the home and later at the Ness Church with Rev. O. G. Aasen. Ed Johnson sang " Ye Shall Not Pass This Way Again." and " Lead Kindly Light". Burial was at the Ness Cemetery, Elbow Lake. Pallbearers were G.C. Paulson, Hans P. Jebe, Richard Setran, August Tyberg, Louie Island and G.
