3-7-2013 e from dora ann from marilyn roberts: DuWayne passed awa y last night after 11 pm. He was in so much pain and for a couple day s almost non responsive. Please let your family know and as per his r equest there will no service. He will be cremated and Bonnie will kee p him for awhile. It is sad as the service is for the ones who love d him and knew him. Thanks for keeping in touch. Marilyn
Dwayne's father was Harvey Roberts. Harvey's mother was Christina bre kke Roberts, sister of anna brekke Ostrom. Dwayne's wife's name i s Bonnie. Marilyn is Dwayne's sister. Dwayne would be my second cou sin. Think I talked to Dwayne once so know very little about him.

--2. 3-7-2013 Ed to DA: I was taping Harvey one day (2005?). Whe n he was a welder (guess 1950's so Harvey would have been 40?) at Sow a's in woodburn, he chewed copenhagen and smoked cigarettes. One tim e he had a big mouthful of spit, put on his [full-faced] welding helm et forgot he had his helmet on and spit into it. It was his only hel met and he had to smell that for a long time. Harvey said the smell w as so gross he contacted duwaye (16 yo?) and said lets meet. they g ot together and pledged to each other they are done with tobacco. Ha vey said to this day he's not had any tobacco since. Think he sai d DuWayne also.
--3. 3-7-2013 e from sharon king: tis sad...........but I know h e was suffering, at our last reunion, they all came and he could wal k for just a few steps then had to stop and gasp for air. Admitted wa s his fault for smoking...he was carrying the icebox - I offered to ta ke it but he said, no, he would be able to do it.
